| well its been awile and alot has happened .ive done alot of stupid poasts lately so i think its time for one with meaning . a couple of days ago i was reading this passage :
"but whatever was to my profit i now consider loss for the sake of Christ. what is more ,i consider everything a losscompared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord,for whose sake i have lost all things . i consider rubbish, that i may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a rightiousness of my own that comes from the law , but whitch is through faith in Crist - the rightiousness that comes from God and is by faith. i want to know Christ and the power of his resurection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings ,becoming like him in his death ,and so, somehow,to attain to the resurection from the dead" phillipians 3:7-11
this whole passige struk me . and i realize that i and othersare lossing sight of what paul is explaining here. which is the most basic parts of our faith, that what we gain in this world is nothing compared to the surpasing greatness of Christ ,and his love |
